The Met and BAND-AID® Collaborate on Art-Inspired Bandages

In an exciting continuation of their partnership, BAND-AID® Brand and the Metropolitan Museum of Art have unveiled a new collection of art-themed adhesive bandages for 2026. Following the success of their previous collaboration, this latest release features stunning details from three renowned floral paintings housed in the Met's collection: Claude Monet's Water Lilies (1919), Vincent van Gogh's Irises (1890), and Odilon Redon's Bouquet of Flowers (circa 1900-1905).

The 2026 assortment includes 50 bandages in various sizes--small (Redon), medium (van Gogh), and large (Monet)--all beautifully packaged in a collectible tin showcasing a larger reproduction of van Gogh's work. This exclusive offering is available for purchase at Target for $7.29, continuing the trend set by last year's collaboration featuring pieces by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai.

According to Josh Romm, the Met's head of global licensing and partnerships, "This new iteration of our BAND-AID® Brand collaboration celebrates highlights from The Met collection--from the colorful floral paintings of Monet, Redon, and van Gogh to Hokusai's dynamic woodblock prints. These artists, working in different eras and traditions, are connected by a shared fascination with the natural world. Translating their works into a unique format--bandages--allows a whole new way to appreciate and live with art every day."

The previous 2025 Hokusai bandage collection, which quickly sold out, is also back on the shelves at major retailers, including Target, Amazon, and CVS, highlighting the enduring appeal of art in everyday life.

This collaboration not only showcases iconic artworks but also transforms everyday items into a canvas for creativity, encouraging people to engage with art in innovative ways. As such initiatives continue, they pave the way for a future where art becomes an integral part of our daily experiences.
