Meta has made Muse Voice available to users across the United States, enabling live voice and video conversations with its Muse AI assistant.
The feature uses Meta's Muse Realtime Avatar and Muse Realtime Voice technologies to bring the assistant to life on screen. Users can personalize its appearance, choosing a human-like look, an animal or another character. Meta says the avatar can respond with expressions and gestures that reflect the conversation.
Muse Voice is supported on mobile, web and Mac. Meta plans to extend the experience to its AI glasses and the upcoming Muse Charm wearable, where the assistant's avatar is expected to appear on a small screen and help users with tasks.
By combining conversational AI with a customizable on-screen presence, Meta is exploring ways to make digital assistants feel more interactive across devices. The approach could shape how people engage with AI in everyday settings.
