Cameo partners with TikTok to allow creators to offer personalized video messages, enhancing engagement and revenue opportunities for influencers.

Cameo Teams Up with TikTok to Enhance Creator Earnings

In a strategic move to revitalize its brand, the celebrity greeting platform Cameo has announced a partnership with TikTok that enables U.S. creators to deliver personalized video messages directly to their fans via the popular short-form video app.

This collaboration is designed to empower creators by increasing their revenue potential while streamlining the process for fans to request Cameo videos. By integrating this feature within TikTok, creators can now easily offer personalized messages alongside their existing content, thereby expanding their reach and engagement.

Cameo's CEO, Steven Galanis, highlighted the significance of this partnership, stating that "Cameo videos regularly go viral on TikTok," and noted that TikTok talent had its most successful year on Cameo in 2025. This integration taps into the vast creator ecosystem on TikTok, where influencers like Ash Trevino, Alex Dougherty, and SmoothPapi are already making waves on Cameo's leaderboard.

Once valued at $1 billion during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cameo faced challenges in 2024, including a dramatic valuation decline of over 90%. The company has been working to regain traction, previously launching a birthday planning app called Candl in an effort to reconnect with its audience.

This partnership aligns with a broader trend in the media landscape, where brands recognize the power of influencers to enhance their offerings. Similar collaborations have been seen with streaming platforms like Tubi and Peacock, which are leveraging popular creators to produce original content.

Furthermore, TikTok has been enhancing its platform with features that foster interaction between fans and creators, such as tipping, virtual gifts, and subscription options, along with a newly introduced "bulletin board" for creators to share updates with their followers.

The Cameo-TikTok integration coincides with exciting developments in advertising formats and interactive content on TikTok, indicating a dynamic shift in how creators and brands can engage with audiences.
