Microsoft Sets Quarterly Revenue Record for 10 Consecutive Quarters

Cloud growth lifts Microsoft to another record quarter

Microsoft reported $92.3 billion in revenue for its latest quarter, up 19% from the same period a year earlier. The result marks the company's 10th consecutive quarterly revenue record.

Net income rose 32% year over year to $36.6 billion. Microsoft Cloud generated $63.9 billion, a 30% increase. Within that business, Azure brought in $33.2 billion, while Microsoft 365 contributed nearly $28 billion.

Artificial intelligence is part of the expanding cloud business: Microsoft reported $10 billion in revenue associated with OpenAI. The company also said future revenue commitments under existing commercial contracts grew 73% to $677 billion.

Growth was uneven across the business. Devices and Consumer revenue fell 3% to $15.5 billion, while Windows OEM and devices revenue declined 22%. At the same time, Microsoft's capital spending reached a quarterly record of $45.2 billion as it invests in capacity to meet demand.

The results highlight how cloud services and AI-related demand are reshaping the company's growth profile. Continued investment in computing infrastructure may help determine how quickly these technologies expand across business and everyday life.
