Meta's new AI app Muse is gaining momentum in the U.S. market, reaching the No. 2 spot on the App Store's Top Charts shortly after launch. Early data from Sensor Tower shows the iOS app has been downloaded more than 83,000 times in the United States, where it is currently available.
The launch marks one of Meta's latest moves into agentic AI, a category built around assistants that can complete tasks on behalf of users. While Muse is climbing quickly on iPhone, its Android performance is still modest, with a ranking of No. 338 in Google Play's Productivity category.
Compared with Meta's earlier app debuts, Muse is off to a slower start than Threads and Meta AI, but it is still building visibility. The app is also accessible through the web and WhatsApp, though those usage channels are not included in the current estimates.
Meta is entering a crowded field of consumer AI tools, where companies are racing to make assistants more practical, personal, and everyday-friendly. Muse's early traction suggests that simple, task-focused AI experiences are becoming a stronger part of digital life.
As agent-based tools continue to evolve, apps like Muse may help define how people interact with AI in the years ahead, shaping a more connected and action-oriented digital future.
