Loro Piana's Fall/Winter 2026 Campaign Turns Houston's Art Spaces Into a Fashion Set

Loro Piana has reimagined its Fall/Winter 2026 campaign through the lens of Houston's art and architecture, choosing the Menil Collection, the de Menil residence, and the Rothko Chapel as its visual backdrop.

Shot by Mario Sorrenti over four spring days after the brand first reached out to the Menil Collection last fall, the campaign places coats, tailoring, knitwear, and dresses inside spaces shaped by modern design and major artworks. The result is a dialogue between luxury fashion and cultural heritage.

The imagery also highlights pieces from the de Menil collection, including works by Tomás Yepes, Francesca Fuchs, Wayne Thiebaud, and Mark Rothko. In the private residence, model Sigrid de L'Epine appears in the entryway beside a 19th-century green silk setee, while Long Li is photographed among art-filled interiors at the Menil Collection.

Designed by Philip Johnson and completed in 1948, the de Menil home remains a key part of the family's legacy and is not open to the public. The Rothko Chapel, opened in 1971, continues to stand as one of the most distinctive contemplative spaces in contemporary art, shaped by Rothko's 14 commissioned canvases.

By bringing fashion into conversation with architecture, painting, and collected objects, Loro Piana frames its new season as more than a style statement--it becomes a cultural composition. This kind of cross-disciplinary storytelling may influence how luxury brands present identity in the years ahead.
