Crusoe Secures Major New Funding at $30 Billion Valuation

Data center builder Crusoe has reportedly closed a fresh $3 billion funding round, lifting its valuation to $30 billion. The company serves major AI clients including Meta, Microsoft, and OpenAI, underscoring the rising demand for advanced cloud infrastructure.

The round was co-led by Atreides Management and Valor Equity Partners, with participation from Mubadala Capital, the investment arm linked to Abu Dhabi's sovereign wealth fund Mubadala. The backing signals continued confidence in the long-term growth of AI-ready data centers.

Crusoe has also recently secured a five-year, $13 billion cloud agreement to provide GPUs and AI infrastructure for Jane Street, further expanding its role in high-performance computing. The company was founded in 2018 and originally focused on crypto mining powered by flared natural gas before evolving into a large-scale AI infrastructure provider.

After raising $1.38 billion at a $10 billion valuation last year, Crusoe's latest move reflects how quickly the AI infrastructure market is scaling. If momentum continues, the company could become one of the defining platforms shaping the next generation of digital computing.
