Apple has introduced a redesigned Health app that uses Apple Intelligence to turn everyday wellness data into clearer, more actionable insights. Arriving alongside the new Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, the app now features an Insights tab, personalized guidance, a readiness score, and a new Health Age metric.
Health Age is designed to show how a user's metrics compare with their actual age by drawing on signals such as VO2 max, sleep patterns, movement, heart health, and selected blood biomarkers. Apple also added a longevity view that blends data from Apple Watch and iPhone to offer a broader picture of long-term wellness.
The company said the app can also incorporate lab results, and it has partnered with Quest on a 50-biomarker panel priced at $119, giving users a faster way to bring test-based data into their health profile. With these additions, the app can surface more tailored suggestions, such as adjusting running intervals to support cardio fitness.
Apple says the updated experience goes deeper into fitness and heart health, while also offering movement assessments that may be especially useful for people rebuilding strength or tracking mobility. The rollout begins later this year in U.S. English.
As digital health tools become more intuitive, this kind of AI-driven guidance could help make personal wellness tracking more precise, proactive, and future-ready.
