A24 has approved NASA's request to screen You Can See Everything aboard the International Space Station, bringing the documentary to orbit before its European theatrical debut.
Directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, the film first opened in North America with a limited theatrical run and has since drawn international interest. Sony Pictures has acquired distribution rights for Germany, Latin America, South Korea and other markets, with release plans for those regions yet to be announced.
Audiences in the UK are scheduled to see the film from November 20, while its French release is set for December 30. The planned ISS screening gives astronauts an opportunity to watch it while living and working in low Earth orbit.
The screening highlights how cultural experiences can reach audiences beyond traditional theaters, including people stationed in space.
