TV Time's planned exit from app stores is opening the door to a fresh chapter for screen lovers. One of the app's original creators, Antonio Pinto, is preparing Bingers, a new platform designed to carry forward the spirit of the popular TV-tracking community.
Pinto says the project aims to preserve the features users valued most while improving the experience with a cleaner, faster, and more sustainable structure. The new app is being built to handle large-scale activity more efficiently, with a focus on quicker episode tracking and smoother performance.
Beyond personal watchlists, Bingers is also expected to keep the social side of TV discovery alive. That means viewers will still have a place to share reactions, follow episode discussions, and stay connected around their favorite shows. With TV Time having reached more than 26.4 million lifetime installs, the new platform could inherit a large and active audience from day one.
Pinto, who is based in Paris, says the idea came from wanting to create a new home for a community that had become part of his own routine. He also plans to let users bring over their viewing archives through a data export process, helping them retain their watch history and related comments when the new app launches.
Bingers is expected to arrive on the App Store and Google Play by the end of July 2026, while its website is already collecting sign-ups for early access. If the rollout goes as planned, the app could become a stronger, more adaptive model for how digital fandom communities evolve in the future.
