Snap Reports 30 Million Paid Subscribers Across Its Premium Services

Snap has surpassed 30 million paid subscribers across Snapchat+, Memories Storage and Lens+, marking a new milestone for the company's subscription business. CEO Evan Spiegel shared the figure in Snap's third-quarter 2026 investor letter.

Launched in 2022, Snapchat+ offers exclusive and early-access features. Snap has since expanded its paid lineup with Lens+, which includes additional augmented-reality experiences, and Snapchat+ Platinum, an ad-free tier. The company says AI-powered creative tools have helped Lens+ attract demand beyond its expectations.

Spiegel noted that paid subscribers still represent a small portion of Snapchat's overall community. Snap plans to build on that opportunity with new premium experiences, while developing ways for businesses to reach users.

The milestone highlights how social platforms are broadening their services beyond advertising. Continued investment in creative tools and subscription options could shape how users personalize their digital experiences in the years ahead.
