Roborock has entered the wireless lawn-care category with the RockMow X120H, an AI-assisted robot mower designed for homeowners who want a more automated way to maintain their yard. At launch, the model is already available with a price cut of about $700, bringing it to $2,499.99 from $3,199.
The mower is built for lawns of up to half an acre and combines LiDAR, binocular vision, and AI navigation to map space without a perimeter wire or RTK antenna. Its all-wheel drive, active front-wheel steering, and Dynamic Suspension System are aimed at handling uneven ground, slopes up to 38.7 degrees, and obstacles as high as 3.1 inches.
Roborock also equipped the device with six blades, a 9.45-inch cutting width, and a cutting-height range from 1.57 to 3.54 inches. A rain sensor sends it back to the charging base when weather changes, while the IPX6 rating supports easy cleaning after use. The mower can be managed through the Roborock app and includes three years of free 4G connectivity for remote tracking, plus PIN- and GPS-based anti-theft protection.
With LiDAR still relatively rare in robot mowers, the X120H stands out as a smart option for mixed terrain, shaded areas, and more complex yard layouts. It reflects a broader shift toward intelligent outdoor automation that may reshape how future homes care for their landscapes.
