The Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 robot vacuum and mop is listed for $799.99, reduced by $500 from $1,299.99 in an early Black Friday offer. Its 3.1-inch profile is designed to reach beneath low furniture, with a retractable navigation tower and camera helping it move through tight spaces.
Cleaning features and trade-offs
The robot combines 25,000Pa suction with a brush designed to reduce hair tangles. An extending side brush and swiveling mop module help it clean corners and along walls, while its two mop pads spin at 200 RPM. It can also adjust its approach to dry and wet messes, increasing suction for dust and lifting the main brush over spills.
After a run, the dock washes and dries the mop pads and empties dust into a bag rated for up to 65 days. The model's limitations include difficulty crossing thresholds higher than 0.8 inches and a relatively small 2.3-fluid-ounce onboard water tank. It also has no separate tank for cleaning solution, which must be added manually if used.
Cleaning schedules, suction, water flow and carpet settings can be managed in the Roborock app. As home-cleaning devices become more adaptable, features like these could make routine floor care increasingly convenient, while real-world fit and maintenance needs remain important considerations.
