A slimmer design for automated floor care
The Roborock Saros 10R combines vacuuming and mopping in a low-profile design, and is currently listed for $899.99, down $700 from its $1,599.99 original price. The offer represents a 44% discount.
With suction rated at up to 22,000 Pa, the robot is designed to clean hard floors and navigate under furniture. Its 3.14-inch height helps it reach low-clearance spaces, while dual rotating mop pads and an extending arm are built to clean along edges and into tighter areas. A split brushroll aims to limit hair and fur tangles.
The device can also handle rugs, furniture and thresholds up to 4 centimeters high. Its dock empties the dustbin, refills the water tank, and washes and dries the mop pads. The trade-off is that the relatively large station needs dedicated floor space.
By combining navigation, cleaning and routine maintenance in one system, products like the Saros 10R point toward increasingly autonomous home care that could give people more time for other tasks.
