Roborock's Saros Z70 is pushing home robotics into a new phase, combining vacuuming, mopping, and light object handling in one device. The model stands out with its Omnigrip robotic arm, designed to identify small obstacles such as socks or slippers, move them aside, and then return to clean the space underneath.
Beyond the arm, the Saros Z70 brings a premium feature set built for efficient whole-home cleaning. It includes 3D navigation, dual cameras, precision sensors, automatic mop washing and drying, a self-emptying bin, and voice control. Roborock says the system can handle up to 10 items and cover around 150 square meters with the arm enabled.
Performance specs are equally ambitious: 22,000Pa suction, hot-water mopping, 30 water-flow levels, and the ability to cross thresholds of about 1.5 inches. Its slim 3.14-inch profile helps it move under low furniture, while battery life reaches roughly two hours and 15 minutes without arm use.
For shoppers tracking smart-home innovation, the biggest headline is price: the Saros Z70 is currently discounted to $999.99, down from $1,999.99. It is a notable example of how household robots are evolving from simple cleaners into more adaptive home assistants.
