RayNeo has introduced two distinct smart glasses families, expanding its presence in the wearable tech market. The new lineup includes the RayNeo iO, built around productivity and AI support, and the GT series, designed as portable display glasses for media and second-screen use. All models are set to go on sale on Sept. 4 via RayNeo's official store and Amazon, though pricing has not yet been announced.
RayNeo iO: lightweight and AI-driven
The iO model is positioned as a practical everyday tool. At just 33 grams, it is designed for comfort and features a compact monochrome waveguide display visible only to the wearer. RayNeo says the glasses use integrated Ambient AI powered by Gemini, with background functions that can recognize meeting context, capture schedules, and turn conversations into action items. The device also supports translation and teleprompter-style use, while battery life is expected to last up to two days under typical conditions.
GT series: a wearable screen for entertainment
The GT and GT Max focus on immersive viewing rather than all-day wear. RayNeo says the series offers a 59-degree field of view, a large virtual display experience, and support for Dolby Vision when paired with the Pocket TV Pro. The glasses also include spatial audio from Bang & Olufsen and a quad-speaker setup for directional sound. The GT Max will be available in multiple IPD sizes, helping improve clarity across different face shapes.
Notably, neither model includes a camera, signaling a design approach centered on discretion, comfort, and utility. As smart glasses continue to evolve, RayNeo's new strategy suggests a future where wearables become more focused, more personal, and more seamlessly integrated into daily life.
