Reacher will continue its run on Prime Video with a confirmed fifth season, bringing Alan Ritchson back as Lee Child's iconic drifter and former military investigator, Jack Reacher.
The new season will adapt Make Me, the 20th novel in Lee Child's Reacher series, first published in 2016. The story begins when Reacher arrives in the remote community of Mother's Rest and becomes connected to Michelle Chang through an unexpected case of mistaken identity.
A new chapter from Lee Child's universe
Season 5 follows the fourth season, which drew from the novel Gone Tomorrow. The series has built its identity around standalone investigations, fast-paced storytelling and a central character who moves from town to town, encountering new people and mysteries in every chapter.
The upcoming cast includes Amanda Ip as Michelle Chang and Jay Baruchel as Chief Buck Bauer. Kevin Durand and Ciara Bravo are also set to join the new season. Ritchson remains at the center of the production as its lead character.
Prime Video has also expanded the wider franchise with Neagley, a spin-off focused on Frances Neagley, Reacher's longtime ally, played by Maria Sten. The parallel series signals a broader creative future for the characters and stories originating from Child's bestselling books.
When could Season 5 arrive?
An official release date has not yet been announced. Based on the series' previous production and release rhythm, Season 5 is expected to reach audiences around late 2027.
