AI hardware startup Natura is preparing to launch Interface, a smart ring designed to make everyday access to digital assistants more immediate. Priced at $99 at launch, the wearable combines AI agent controls with continuous health tracking in a compact, screen-free form.
A Shortcut to Everyday AI
Interface lets users activate AI-powered tasks with a finger press and voice commands, reducing the need to reach for a phone. The ring is designed to work with platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, Meta's Muse, Instinct and Grokbot, allowing users to choose a suitable agent for different requests.
Potential uses include starting a workout, checking a daily schedule, creating reminders, controlling connected devices, recording meeting notes and sending follow-up messages. Responses can be delivered through paired headphones, iPhone Live Activities or Natura's companion app, NatureOS.
Health Data Meets Connected Productivity
Alongside its AI capabilities, Interface tracks heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep stages, activity, steps and skin temperature trends. Natura estimates a battery life of six to 12 days, depending on use, with a full recharge taking around 100 minutes.
The product follows Natura's earlier AI-focused earbuds, HumanPods. Founder Carlo Edoardo Ferraris sees the ring format as a natural always-on interface: lightweight enough to remain part of routines ranging from exercise to sleep.
Launch Plans
Pre-orders are expected to begin next month, with deliveries planned for December or January. Natura intends to offer an initial free period of three to six months before introducing a $9 monthly subscription. The company says its early pricing strategy aims to make AI wearables more accessible while building a wider user base.
By combining wellness metrics with hands-free AI access, Interface points to a future where personal technology becomes less screen-dependent and more seamlessly woven into daily life.
