Maine College of Art & Design Unveils 2026 MFA Thesis Exhibition

The Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art (MFA) program at Maine College of Art & Design (MECA&D) has announced its upcoming MFA Thesis Exhibition, a showcase dedicated to the graduating class of 2026. This event, organized in partnership with the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) at MECA&D, will highlight the impressive artistic journeys of the graduate candidates.

The exhibition will feature the work of nine talented artists, each exploring diverse themes that range from the natural and constructed environments to personal experiences of health, grief, and cultural narratives. The artists employ various mediums, including ceramics, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, as well as sound and video installations. This variety underscores the robust and culturally significant nature of MECA&D's MFA program, fostering a community that bridges emerging artists with the broader art landscape.

Exhibiting Artists

The artists showcasing their work include Abigail G. Cloutier, Harley Ngai Grieco, Molly Knobloch, Stephen Medeiros, Darby Miller, Dylan Ouellette, Caitlin Perrigo, Jonathan Spath, and Isaac L. Stern.
