Fambot is bringing a new approach to consumer AI with a tool designed to help families manage everyday logistics. The startup describes its product as an AI chief of staff for parents, built to organize calendars, messages, school updates, and activity planning in one place.
Founded by former Instagram engineer Greg Karlin, CEO David Reich, and former Google and LinkedIn executive Jason Morrow, the company says the idea came from a simple need: reducing the mental load that comes with raising children and coordinating busy schedules.
Users connect email, calendar, and selected WhatsApp groups so the system can generate a daily checklist and highlight upcoming commitments. Fambot also works through a web and mobile interface, not only by text, which the team sees as a key step toward making AI more practical in everyday life.
The platform is powered by multiple AI models, with the company saying user data is not used to train them. Ahead of launch, Fambot was tested by more than 1,000 families, and feedback showed interest across many household types, including single-parent homes and families with one child.
Backed by $3.5 million in pre-seed funding from investors including NextView Ventures and Baukunst, Fambot is currently free in beta on iOS, Android, and the web. The company plans to expand integrations with school, sports, and club communication tools over time. If successful, this kind of family-focused AI could help shape a more organized and responsive digital home life in the years ahead.
