For people who prefer a phone that fits comfortably in one hand, the upcoming Enough Phone aims to offer a compact alternative to today's larger smartphones. Its planned dimensions are 133 by 64 millimeters, with a thickness of less than 12 millimeters--close to the footprint of the iPhone 13 mini.
Compact design, current essentials
The prototype is planned to feature a 5.3-inch display with 1520 × 720 resolution. Its proposed hardware includes a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with expansion available through a microSD card. Camera plans include a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 32-megapixel front camera.
The device is also designed for 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and eSIM, while retaining support for a physical SIM. A replaceable 3,500mAh battery and a construction intended to be easier to open are part of the company's effort to make the phone more repairable. Enough says it plans to provide software support through 2032.
Two operating system options
Rather than running iOS, the phone is expected to offer Android 17 or OdysseyOS, a minimalist operating system developed by SLEKE. The final specifications may change as the prototype is tested.
The company is offering the device through a Kickstarter campaign. An early-bird option is listed at $449, while the planned retail price is $599. Enough is targeting a May 2027 launch.
If its design and long-term support plans reach consumers as intended, Enough Phone could help broaden the market for compact smartphones built to last.
