AI-driven fashion app Daydream has introduced two new iPhone features that turn saved outfit photos into shopping results and let users search by voice or text through Siri without opening the app.
The tools are built with Apple's latest iOS developer framework and require an iPhone running the newest system with Siri AI enabled. Once installed, the app can analyze an image from the Photos library, identify pieces such as tops, pants, shoes, and accessories, then surface matching or similar items from its catalog of about 3 million products.
This means a style screenshot saved from social platforms can become a direct shopping starting point. If the exact item is still available, Daydream can connect users to the retailer; if not, it suggests close alternatives. The app also understands customization requests, such as changing a sweater's color while keeping the same look.
The second feature expands Siri into a fashion search layer. Users can ask for outfit ideas in natural language, and Daydream returns personalized results. The experience becomes even more tailored when shoppers complete the app's Style Passport, which stores preferences such as size, favorite brands, style direction, and budget.
Founded by Julie Bornstein, Daydream says the new tools are part of a larger plan to build a smarter shopping agent that works across everyday moments. The app already serves more than 1.5 million shoppers across hundreds of retailers and thousands of brands.
As on-device intelligence becomes more capable, fashion discovery may shift from searching for products to simply describing intent, shaping a more intuitive future for digital shopping.
