ARTnews and Hublot Bring Creative Leaders Together at KidSuper's New York Studio

ARTnews and Hublot hosted a dinner Wednesday evening at the New York headquarters of artist and fashion designer Colm Dillane, known as KidSuper. The gathering brought together people from across art, fashion, film and collecting.

Dillane told ARTnews editor-in-chief Sarah Douglas that entering the art world initially felt unfamiliar, much like his early experience in fashion. After facing setbacks before gaining a place on the Paris Fashion Week calendar, he discovered a community interested in new ideas.

Guests toured the 10,000-square-foot headquarters, which houses an art studio, podcast studio, store and a rooftop soccer pitch sponsored by Hublot. Dillane described the space as a reflection of his wider creative practice, bringing together different disciplines through a shared spirit of play and collaboration.

By combining art, fashion, sport and conversation under one roof, the gathering points to how creative spaces can encourage new connections and cross-disciplinary work.
