Apple says the iPhone Duo now has more than 100,000 apps optimized for its foldable design on the App Store, with thousands more joining each day. The milestone points to a rapidly expanding software experience for the company's newest device.
More apps tailored to the foldable screen
Newly optimized apps include Microsoft Word and Outlook, Zoom, NBA and NHL apps, Etsy, Goodnotes and Halide Mark III. They join services such as Netflix, YouTube, Instagram and WhatsApp, which already support the Duo's format.
Apple also says more than 2,000 developers took part in over 50 in-person workshops across 19 cities, where they could test the device and work on app updates with company support. A broader range of updates for iOS 27 is also in the pipeline, spanning productivity, entertainment, fitness, travel and shopping.
As more developers adapt their products to the iPhone Duo, users can expect a wider selection of apps designed to make fuller use of its screen. This growing ecosystem could help define how foldable phones fit into everyday digital life.
