Both sizes of Apple's latest MacBook Air with the M5 chip are currently discounted at Amazon. The 13-inch model is priced at $1,099.99, down from $1,299, while the 15-inch version costs $1,299, reduced from $1,499.
The laptops feature Apple's M5 processor and 512GB of storage. Other listed features include a Liquid Retina display, Touch ID, a 12-megapixel Center Stage camera and a Magic Keyboard. The 15-inch model offers a larger screen, while the 13-inch version provides a more compact option.
With the same $200 reduction on both configurations, shoppers can choose between screen sizes without giving up the new chip generation. Continued improvements in portable processors and storage may make lightweight laptops increasingly capable for everyday work.
