Amazon has introduced five Alexa-enabled devices, including two new products: the Alexa Photo Frame and the Echo Time smart alarm clock. The announcement also brings updates to the Echo Dot, Echo Studio and Echo Show 16.
A photo display designed for the home
The 10-inch Alexa Photo Frame has a semi-matte, anti-glare screen intended to give digital images a more print-like appearance. It connects with Amazon Photos, where Prime members receive unlimited photo storage, and Alexa+ can select pictures based on factors such as season, lighting and smiles. Users can also attach voice notes to images, which sync as photos are added. The frame starts at $199.99.
A more personalised morning routine
Echo Time offers opt-in sleep sensing and a smart alarm that can wake users within a 10-to-60-minute window, aiming to catch a lighter sleep phase. It can also simulate a sunrise to make waking more gradual. The clock starts at $199.99, with a Kids edition priced at $209.99.
Expanded smart-home features
The new Echo Dot adds a built-in smart-home hub and an eero Wi-Fi extender with up to 1,000 square feet of additional coverage. Amazon's AZ3 chip is designed to support faster on-device processing for Alexa+. The Echo Dot is priced at $99.99.
Echo Studio with Home Camera combines a speaker and home-monitoring camera, with visual intelligence features that let Alexa+ interpret objects in view. It costs $249.99. The updated Echo Show 16 has a 16-inch display, built-in Fire TV and household planning tools; pre-orders start at $499.99.
By bringing photo management, home controls and personalised routines into dedicated devices, Amazon's new lineup points toward smart homes that respond more naturally to everyday habits.
