Ultrahuman Ring Pro: Three Standout Features That Define the New Smart Ring

Ultrahuman Ring Pro stands out with longer battery life, a smarter charging case and a refined metal design, signaling a stronger future for smart rings.

Ultrahuman Ring Pro: Three Standout Features That Define the New Smart Ring

Ultrahuman's new Ring Pro is positioning itself as a refined step forward in the smart-ring category, combining longer endurance, a more interactive charging case and a cleaner metal design. At $479, it arrives as an upgrade to the Ring Air with a familiar experience, but several details make it feel more ambitious.

Battery life takes a major leap

One of the most notable improvements is endurance. After nearly three days of use, the battery had dropped to 78%, suggesting a runtime of around 13 days under similar conditions. That is well beyond the five to six days previously seen on the Ring Air and also ahead of the roughly one-week result reported for the Oura Ring 5.

Ultrahuman says the ring is designed to last up to 15 days, while the charging case can extend total use to about 45 days. The ring also offers different power modes, including Turbo Mode, Chill Mode and a low-power emergency setting, giving users more control over how often data is collected.

The charging case feels more intelligent

The new case is more than a simple power accessory. It adds sound cues during setup, a tactile vibration response and an LED strip across the front edge that changes color depending on status. The app can also trigger a sound if the case is misplaced, making the system feel more connected and responsive.

Beyond charging, the case is built to support diagnostics and resets, hinting at a broader role in the ring's ecosystem. It reflects a growing trend in wearable tech: turning accessories into active parts of the user experience.

A simpler, more elegant build

Design-wise, the Ring Pro moves toward a thicker, more solid metal form. Unlike some smart rings that use a visible inner coating, Ultrahuman keeps the inside finish consistent with the outside, creating a more unified look and feel. The ring also includes two break points for emergency removal, adding a practical layer to its polished design.

With its stronger battery, smarter case and refined construction, the Ring Pro suggests a future where wearables become more seamless, more durable and more intuitive in everyday life.
