Together AI, a neocloud company founded in 2022, has announced a $800 million Series C round that lifts its valuation to $8.3 billion. The company says the new capital will help broaden access to frontier AI through more efficient infrastructure and open model deployment.
The funding round was led by Aramco Ventures and included support from Vista Equity Partners, General Catalyst, Emergence Capital, Nvidia, March Capital, Pegatron, and SentinelOne's S Ventures. The company had previously raised a $305 million Series B at a $3.3 billion valuation, following a $102.5 million Series A in 2023.
Together AI says annual bookings have surpassed $1.15 billion, reflecting growing demand for affordable AI infrastructure. As more companies adopt open-source models, neocloud providers are becoming a key layer of the AI economy by offering specialized hardware and tools built for large-scale workloads.
The company reports thousands of paying customers, including Cursor, Cognition, and Decagon. Its co-founders are Vipul Ved Prakash, Stanford professor Percy Liang, and ETH Zürich and University of Chicago associate professor Ce Zhang.
This latest milestone signals how specialized AI infrastructure could shape faster, broader, and more accessible innovation in the years ahead.
