Terry Bradshaw is still making time for fans--and signing plenty of autographs--as he introduces his latest memoir, Looking for Terry. The 78-year-old former NFL quarterback and longtime broadcaster says the book shares experiences from the decades since his previous memoir, including how he has understood his public image and personal challenges.
Bradshaw says he has a two-year extension with Fox and intends to keep working on air. He does not plan to announce a formal retirement, explaining that he would rather leave the possibility of continuing open than prompt a farewell tribute. For now, he says, his aim is to keep entertaining viewers and offer strong opinions when he has them.
The memoir also addresses Bradshaw's experience with depression. He says speaking openly about it has led some people to seek professional help, and that he hopes readers facing similar challenges may find something useful in his story.
Bradshaw's approach leaves the next chapter of his broadcasting career undecided. His candid memoir may also help keep conversations about mental health and life after sport visible to a wider audience.
