Stability AI, the company behind the Stable Diffusion image model, has secured $76 million in new Series B funding, lifting its total capital raised to $232 million.
The round included support from major entertainment and gaming players such as Universal Music Group, Sony Music Group, Warner Music Group, and Electronic Arts, alongside AMD Ventures and Pacific Alliance Ventures. The mix of backers reflects growing interest in generative AI across creative industries.
Founded in 2019, Stability AI has been building tools for image, video, and music generation, while also developing professional services for enterprise clients. The company says the fresh funding will help accelerate its creative production suite and broaden its service offering.
CEO Prem Akkaraju described the investment as a strong signal for a future where generative AI supports producers, musicians, and storytellers in new ways. Over the past year, the company has also deepened collaborations with entertainment partners to shape AI tools directly within creative workflows.
As generative AI continues to move from experimentation to practical production, Stability AI's latest funding round points to a future where creative technology becomes more integrated, collaborative, and widely accessible.
