On February 4, 2026, March corn recorded a modest increase, finishing the day at $4.29½ per bushel.

Meanwhile, March soybeans experienced a notable rise, closing up 26½¢ at $10.92¼ per bushel.

In contrast, March CBOT wheat saw a slight decline, settling down 2¢ at $5.26¾ per bushel, while March Kansas City wheat dropped by 4½¢ to $5.30¼ per bushel. March Minneapolis wheat also fell, closing at $5.66, down 2¼¢.

Earlier today, there was significant market activity following discussions between agricultural leaders about potential purchases of additional agricultural products, including a proposal for China to increase its soybean imports to 20 million tons for the current season. This news propelled March soybeans to reach a peak of $11.15¼ per bushel during the trading session.

Additionally, March feeder cattle saw an increase of $2.15, ending the day at $370.08 per hundredweight (cwt). April live cattle closed up 18¢ at $241.80 per cwt, while April lean hogs rose by 30¢ to $98.45 per cwt.
