Sony WH-1000XM6 Headphones Reach New Low Price During Prime Big Deal Days

Sony's flagship WH-1000XM6 wireless headphones are available for $378 during Prime Big Deal Days, down from $459.99. The offer represents an $81.99 reduction and the lowest recorded price for the model.

Adaptive listening for daily life

Introduced in 2025, the WH-1000XM6 advances Sony's premium over-ear headphone platform with upgraded active noise cancellation. The model uses 12 microphones, compared with eight on its predecessor, to support noise reduction, Ambient Sound mode and Adaptive Sound Control.

These systems are designed to respond to changing surroundings, adjusting how much external sound reaches the listener. This can make the headphones more versatile across commuting, focused work sessions and travel.

Personalized sound and flexible connectivity

Through Sony's companion app, users can fine-tune audio with a customizable equalizer and check the active Bluetooth codec. The WH-1000XM6 supports LDAC, AAC, SBC and LC3, offering options for different devices and listening preferences.

Battery performance reaches up to 30 hours with noise cancellation activated and up to 40 hours when it is turned off, depending on usage. Sony has also retained a 3.5 mm audio jack for wired listening with compatible entertainment systems and legacy devices.

As adaptive audio technology becomes more accessible, products such as the WH-1000XM6 could help shape a future where personal sound automatically fits each listener's environment.
