Sony Bravia 8 II OLED TV Sees $800 Price Drop

Sony's 65-inch Bravia 8 II QD-OLED television is available at a reduced price during the October Prime Day period, falling from $3,299.99 to $2,498. The offer represents a discount of roughly 24%, though pricing and stock may change during the sale.

Premium OLED performance for home entertainment

The Bravia 8 II combines a 4K HDR QD-OLED panel with Sony's image processing technologies, targeting detailed contrast, rich color reproduction and smooth motion across films, series and live sports. Its deep black levels and anti-glare coating are designed to support a more immersive viewing experience in a range of indoor lighting conditions.

For connected households, the model runs on Google TV and includes Google Assistant support. Wi-Fi 6E connectivity is also built in, helping compatible networks deliver more responsive streaming and smart-home performance.

The TV is designed with flexible audio integration in mind. Its built-in speakers can serve as a center channel in a compatible surround-sound system, allowing users to combine the display with external satellite speakers.

Gaming features include a 120Hz refresh rate, variable refresh rate support and 16.1-millisecond input lag. These specifications position the Bravia 8 II as a versatile screen for console gaming as well as cinematic entertainment.

As premium display technologies become more accessible through seasonal pricing, devices such as the Bravia 8 II could help accelerate the shift toward richer, more integrated home entertainment environments.
