Shannon Taylor's artistry transforms vintage cosmetic compacts into enchanting miniature dioramas, showcasing intricate scenes ranging from serene woodlands to whimsical landscapes filled with mythical beings. These artistic vessels, often discovered in flea markets and vintage shops, carry a unique charm that belies the magical worlds they conceal. Inside, viewers can find tiny mermaids, unicorns, and a variety of flora and fauna, all meticulously crafted with watercolor on paper, inviting us into a delightful pocket-sized universe.

In addition to her participation in the Common Waters exhibition at Arch Enemy Arts, Taylor is gearing up for a solo show titled Minor Mending at Modern Eden in San Francisco, set to open on August 6. Furthermore, she has curated an exhibition at the Oakland Museum of California called Fairyland @ 75: A Legacy of Magic, organized for Children's Fairyland, where she serves as Director of Art and Restoration. This captivating display will be available for viewing through the end of summer.
