Peacock Expands Reach with New YouTube Premium Partnership

Peacock is expanding through a new YouTube Premium partnership, bringing live sports and popular shows to more viewers in a bundled streaming format.

Peacock Expands Reach with New YouTube Premium Partnership

NBCUniversal is widening Peacock's distribution through a new global partnership with YouTube, bringing the streaming service into YouTube Premium for U.S. subscribers starting in early 2027.

The move will give viewers access to Peacock's Premium lineup inside the YouTube environment, including NFL and NBA games, Saturday Night Live, Love Island USA, Law & Order: SVU, and Bravo titles such as The Real Housewives franchise.

For YouTube, the agreement strengthens YouTube Premium by adding another major entertainment destination and supports its broader ambition to become a central hub for streaming, live sports, and creator content.

The partnership also reflects a wider shift in the media landscape, where platforms are prioritizing distribution and bundled access to meet audiences where they already spend time. NBCUniversal has already expanded Peacock through deals with Amazon and Apple, and this latest step marks its most visible integration so far.

Peacock recently reported its first quarterly profit in the second quarter of 2026 and said it has 48 million paid subscribers. Beyond the U.S., NBCUniversal's international services Universal+ and Hayu will also be offered through YouTube Premium in select markets. Later this summer, Peacock Premium will additionally be available as a standalone add-on via YouTube Primetime Channels.

As streaming platforms continue to evolve, partnerships like this could shape a more connected and flexible future for digital entertainment.
