Nimble Way Secures $47M to Enhance AI Access to Real-Time Web Data

In an era where web search continues to flourish, the demand for innovative tools that empower AI agents to leverage real-time data is on the rise. Nimble Way, a web search startup based in New York, recently secured $47 million in a Series B funding round led by Norwest. The company's platform harnesses AI agents to perform real-time searches across the web, ensuring the results are verified, validated, and organized into structured tables that can be easily queried.

This structured approach is essential. While large language models (LLMs) and AI agents excel at aggregating information from various sources, they often present results in plain text, which can be cumbersome for enterprise applications. Nimble Way addresses this challenge by transforming web data into a format compatible with existing databases, allowing businesses to integrate this information seamlessly.

Furthermore, Nimble Way's platform connects with enterprise data warehouses and lakes provided by companies like Databricks and Snowflake. This integration enables AI agents to utilize a business's existing data to enhance context and refine the presentation of search results.

CEO and co-founder Uri Knorovich emphasized that this capability provides enterprises with live, structured web data as part of their data ecosystems. The platform is designed to remember specific search constraints, such as preferred data sources and methodologies, making it particularly beneficial for tasks like competitor analysis, pricing research, and customer insights.

To facilitate these integrations, Nimble Way has partnered with industry leaders including Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, and Microsoft, enhancing enterprise deployment capabilities that require access to internal data sources. Knorovich pointed out that many AI failures stem from data issues rather than the capabilities of the models themselves. He believes that by offering reliable web search, enterprises can confidently expand their use of AI.

Nimble Way currently serves over 100 clients, with a significant portion of its revenue derived from large enterprises, including Fortune 500 and Fortune 10 companies spanning various sectors such as retail, finance, and consumer goods.

Assaf Harel, a partner at Norwest, noted that Nimble Way is addressing a long-standing issue that has gained urgency in today's data-driven landscape. The need for trustworthy live web data is becoming increasingly vital for AI agents tasked with making critical business decisions.

The recent funding round also saw participation from returning investors such as Target Global, Square Peg, and others, with the funds earmarked for expanding research and development in multi-agent web search and a governed data layer to process and validate search results. With this latest round, Nimble Way has raised a total of $75 million.
