Indian fintech company Navi has secured $100 million from Prosus, marking its first institutional funding round since launching eight years ago. The deal places the Bengaluru-based startup at an estimated valuation of about $1.3 billion.
Founded in 2018 by Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal, Navi has built a broad financial platform that includes digital payments, lending, insurance, and mutual funds. The company has also expanded its lending business through Navi Finserv and continues to scale its presence across India.
The investment arrives as Navi is reportedly preparing for a public listing and a potential ₹30 billion initial public offering. The startup had previously explored an IPO plan in 2022 before stepping back as market conditions changed.
In the financial year ended March 2026, Navi reported revenue of ₹30.91 billion and said it reached consolidated profitability in the final quarter of the year. Its UPI app remains one of India's most active payment platforms, processing hundreds of millions of transactions each month.
For Prosus, the move signals confidence in India's fast-evolving digital finance ecosystem, while for Navi it adds fresh momentum at a pivotal stage of growth. The next phase could help shape how large-scale fintech platforms develop across emerging markets.
