Co-Star is known for its personalized birth charts, horoscope-style insights, and compatibility features built from astrological data. The app has reportedly reached about 4.3 million monthly active users and blends AI-generated writing with human editorial input.
The acquisition also brings Co-Star's team of roughly two dozen employees into Midjourney, strengthening the company's experience in consumer app development. That could support Midjourney's broader push beyond image generation and toward a wider range of standalone products.
