Lioness has completed its third season, but Paramount+ has not yet confirmed whether the Taylor Sheridan drama will return for a fourth chapter.
The series has built a prominent ensemble led by Zoe Saldaña as Joe McNamara, with Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, Laysla De Oliveira, Jill Wagner, Michael Kelly and Dave Annable among its established cast. Saldaña and Kidman also serve as executive producers, adding creative continuity to the project.
Strong viewing momentum
Paramount+ reported that the third-season premiere reached 7.1 million viewers, surpassing the opening performance of season two. That audience growth has strengthened expectations for a renewal, even though an official announcement has not been made.
Further optimism comes from behind the scenes. Writer and producer Michael Idov has joined the creative team, signaling continued investment in the series' storytelling world. Cast members have also expressed confidence about the possibility of another season.
