The process begins with about 50 hairs, which are used to harvest cells that can later be stored cryogenically. Those cells are then transformed in the lab into a secretome--a mix of growth factors, cytokines, and exosomes produced by stem cells. The final serum is applied alongside microneedling, a technique designed to create tiny channels in the skin and support renewal.

In practice, the approach is positioned as a personalized add-on for people already exploring advanced skin treatments. The appeal lies in using a person's own biology rather than an external formula. Early observations suggest the serum may support faster recovery and a smoother-looking complexion after procedures, although broad, independent validation is still developing.

Beyond skincare, the idea points to a wider future for stem cell applications. Research is exploring whether hair-follicle-derived cells could one day be reprogrammed into other tissue types, including bone, cartilage, fat, or even nerve-related cells. For now, the most immediate use remains cosmetic and restorative, but the platform hints at broader biomedical possibilities.

As regenerative aesthetics matures, hair-based cell banking could become part of a more personalized model of wellness, where biology is stored, refined, and redeployed over time. That shift may help shape a future where self-derived therapies play a larger role in care and recovery.
