Eero's flagship Max 7 mesh Wi-Fi system is set to receive a $350 price reduction during October Prime Day, bringing the two-unit package to $799.99 from its $1,149.99 list price.
Wi-Fi 7 coverage for connected homes
Built around Wi-Fi 7, the Eero Max 7 is designed for households with demanding streaming, gaming, remote-work and smart-home needs. Each unit is rated to cover up to 2,500 square feet, while the two-pack is designed to serve homes of up to 5,000 square feet under ideal conditions.
The tri-band system carries a BE20800 rating and includes ten antennas per unit. Eero says each router can support more than 250 connected devices, positioning the setup for increasingly device-dense home networks.
High-speed wired and smart-home connectivity
The system also includes 10GbE and 2.5GbE ports for high-bandwidth wired connections. This allows computers, game consoles and network storage devices to be connected directly, while Ethernet can be used between mesh units for a more stable backhaul.
Beyond network coverage, the Max 7 can act as a smart-home hub with integrated Thread, Matter and Zigbee compatibility. Supported lights, sensors and other connected devices can be added without a separate bridge.
Its strongest benefits will be felt by homes with compatible Wi-Fi 7 devices and fast broadband plans. As next-generation connected products become more common, high-capacity mesh systems such as the Eero Max 7 could help make home connectivity more seamless, flexible and future-ready.
