Clicks Technology has started shipping its Power Keyboard, a $99 MagSafe-compatible accessory that adds a slide-out physical keyboard to modern smartphones. The company says the first batch is now largely on its way to customers, with most pre-orders already fulfilled.
Built to work across different phone sizes, the keyboard can be used in portrait or landscape mode and aims to recreate the fast, tactile feel many users remember from BlackBerry-era devices. It connects through Bluetooth and attaches via MagSafe or Qi2, while phones without those standards can use an adapter ring or compatible case.
The accessory also includes a built-in 2,150 mAh battery, which can support wireless charging for supported devices. Clicks says users can manage power sharing, backlight settings, idle timing, and custom shortcuts through its companion app. The keyboard also supports cursor controls and programmable number-row functions for more advanced workflows.
In testing, the design stood out for its premium finish, responsive keys, and adjustable LED backlight. At the same time, its added size and weight make it better suited to deliberate typing sessions than all-day pocket carry, especially on larger phones. Clicks says it has tested the product with a wide range of devices, including recent iPhone, Pixel, Galaxy Fold, and other Android models.
Beyond smartphones, the Power Keyboard can also pair with tablets, smart TVs, and AR/VR headsets that accept external Bluetooth keyboards, broadening its use well beyond mobile typing. As physical input returns in a more flexible form, products like this may help shape a more ergonomic and customizable future for connected devices.
