Bose Ultra Open Earbuds Drop to Their Lowest Price Yet

Bose's Ultra Open Earbuds are now available at $199.99, down from $299.99, marking their lowest price so far. The open-ear design is built for listeners who want music and calls without fully blocking out their surroundings, making it especially appealing for runners and commuters.

Unlike traditional noise-isolating earbuds, this format keeps ambient sound in the mix. That can mean less deep bass and more outside noise, but it also supports greater awareness in busy environments. The earbuds carry an IPX4 water-resistance rating, so they can handle splashes, though they are not made for submersion.

Battery life reaches about 7.5 hours per charge with Immersive Audio turned off, while the case adds roughly two additional charges for a total of around 27 hours. The charging case uses USB-C, and a wireless charging case is available separately.

On the connectivity side, the earbuds support Bluetooth 5.3 and AAC, AptX Adaptive, and SBC codecs. They also allow two-device pairing with a button-based switch, plus EQ customization through the app. Available in six colors, the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds reflect the growing shift toward audio gear that blends performance with everyday awareness. This kind of design could shape the next generation of personal listening.
