The Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar is listed on Amazon for $649, a $350 reduction from its $999 regular price and below its Prime Day price. The discount brings Bose's premium single-bar audio system to a lower entry point for home cinema setups.
Its 5.1.2-channel design uses nine drivers, including two that direct sound upward to create a more spacious Dolby Atmos effect. Bose's AdaptiQ calibration system measures a room's acoustics and adjusts audio accordingly. The bar also includes Amazon Alexa and supports Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth and Bose multi-room audio.
Low-frequency performance is a trade-off: the built-in bass may not deliver the impact of a dedicated subwoofer. The system can be expanded later with compatible Bose subwoofers and surround speakers. For a more affordable option, the Bose Smart Dolby Atmos Soundbar is listed at $399, down from $429.
As soundbars combine immersive audio, room calibration and smart-home features in one device, they could make more advanced home entertainment easier to set up in a wider range of living spaces.
