As AI tools become part of everyday digital life, account security is gaining new importance. Popular platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity offer simple ways to review active sessions and spot unfamiliar logins.
ChatGPT
On ChatGPT, open the web version, select your username, then go to Settings and Security and Login. From there, choose Active Sessions to view devices currently signed in. If anything looks unfamiliar, you can log out of a single device or end all sessions at once. ChatGPT also supports multi-factor authentication, adding an extra layer of protection.
Claude
Claude uses a password-free login flow. In the browser, click your username, open Settings, then Account to see Active sessions. Unknown devices can be removed individually, or you can sign out everywhere and log back in through the email link sent to your inbox.
Perplexity
Perplexity does not display a detailed device list, but it does allow users to end every session quickly. Open the platform, select your username, go to All settings, and choose Sign out of all sessions. After confirming, you can return with a fresh email-based login code.
Using unique passwords, a password manager and multi-factor authentication remains one of the most effective ways to keep AI accounts secure. As these platforms continue to expand, built-in account controls will likely become a standard part of trusted digital experiences.
