Adobe is expanding its AI-powered workflow by making its creative apps accessible inside Slack. The new integration lets users work with tools such as Firefly, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Stock, and Lightroom through Slackbot and the Adobe for Slack MCP app.
With this setup, users can simply describe what they need in conversation, and Slackbot can route the request to the right Adobe tool. Adobe says the assistant also uses chat context, allowing teams to turn messages or Canvas content into PDFs, images, or videos, and even pull in assets from earlier campaigns or Creative Cloud libraries for quick edits.
The feature is initially rolling out to Slack Business+ and Enterprise+ teams. Adobe has been steadily extending its tools into chat-based environments, following a similar integration with ChatGPT and a planned Gemini release.
According to Adobe, the goal is to reduce friction in repeatable creative tasks and help people move faster from idea to finished output without leaving the workspace they already use. As more creative platforms meet collaboration tools inside chat, the future of work may become more fluid, faster, and more connected.
