Galleries across Upstate New York are presenting a varied program of exhibitions this November, spanning contemporary life, sculpture, emerging artists, botanical art and geometric painting.
At Hudson's Ipso Facto Gallery, The TV Glow Sees Me brings together five artists reflecting on identity and life in a screen-saturated culture. Works range from Jesse Morsberger's painting of a boy facing a dark screen to Mina Watanabe DeVore's vivid scene of two figures taking a selfie. The exhibition is on view through November 22.
Other highlights include sculptural works by Judy Pfaff and Michael David at Public Private Gallery, a presentation by the 2026 Emerging Artist Fellowship artists at Ann Street Gallery, and botanical works on paper by Julia Whitney Barnes at Tyte Gallery. Gallery 40 features Emily Nomer's geometrically inspired paintings, while Yellow Studio Arts Center turns its attention to the artistic potential of everyday life.
Together, these exhibitions show how regional galleries can create space for new perspectives and connect artists with local audiences.
