Titan OS Secures $46 Million to Grow Its Smart TV Platform Worldwide

Barcelona-based Titan OS has raised $46 million in equity and debt financing to expand internationally and deepen its partnerships with television manufacturers. The latest funding brings the company's total raised to $110 million.

The company says it now reaches 30 million users, up from 18 million last year. Its partner network has expanded to include Sharp, AOC, Vestel and Skyworth, while Philips plans to use Titan OS in its 2026 TV models. Titan OS also works with services including TiVo in some markets and Tubi in the UK.

AI for discovery and advertising

Titan OS aims to help manufacturers generate revenue beyond hardware sales through advertising and partnerships with free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels. The company plans to use part of the new funding to improve content discovery, including with AI and interface updates intended to help viewers find something to watch more easily.

It is also applying AI to advertising recommendations and audience segmentation. Titan OS has grown its team to 250 people and opened a London office focused on advertising, adding to its locations in Barcelona, Amsterdam and Taipei.

As more TV makers explore operating systems that can support recurring revenue, Titan OS's expansion could broaden the range of platforms shaping how viewers discover and access content.
