TechCrunch Founder Summit to Explore Capital, Leadership and AI-Native Growth in Boston

TechCrunch Founder Summit will bring startup founders, investors and operators together in Boston on November 4 for a focused day of practical conversations on building resilient, scalable companies.

Hosted at SoWa Power Station, the event's agenda centers on three defining areas of entrepreneurship: securing the right capital, evolving as a leader and creating products built for changing markets. Sessions are designed to connect these decisions, reflecting how funding, team design and product strategy increasingly shape one another.

Fundraising Beyond the Term Sheet

In the capital program, investors and founders will examine what distinguishes companies in a competitive fundraising environment. Topics include preserving leverage during negotiations, assessing potential investment partners and understanding how early cap-table decisions can influence a company's long-term direction.

Cogent Security co-founder and CEO Vineet Edupuganti is set to share lessons from the company's $11 million funding round, while Underscore partner Brian Devaney will discuss current investor priorities.

Leadership Designed for Scale

The leadership sessions will focus on how a founder's role changes as a business gains customers, expands operations and hires new teams. HubSpot co-founder Brian Halligan will explore how executives can adapt their management approach through different stages of growth.

NEA partner Melissa Taunton will address the strategic role of early hiring, framing founding teams not simply as headcount but as the foundation for culture, speed and execution.

AI, Product-Market Fit and Category Potential

Artificial intelligence will be a central theme of the summit's future-building track. 7AI co-founder Lior Div will consider the difference between adding AI capabilities to an existing product and designing an AI-native company from the outset.

Bessemer Venture Partners' Kent Bennett will examine signals of genuine product-market fit, while TDK Ventures' Tina Tosukhowong will discuss how investors assess whether a business can lead its category through scalability, timing and sustainable economics.

The program concludes with HqO co-founder Chase Garbarino, who will reflect on building a global company from Boston. Alongside stage sessions, small-group discussions and curated networking are intended to help participants turn shared insights into working relationships.

As entrepreneurial ecosystems extend beyond traditional technology hubs, gatherings that connect capital, talent and emerging technologies may help more founders build globally relevant companies from wherever they start.
