Superhuman has introduced a refreshed auto-draft feature designed to make AI-generated email replies feel more human and more useful in daily work. The system identifies messages that likely need a response and prepares drafts that reflect the user's tone from previous conversations.
Unlike earlier versions that could sound overly polished or generic, the new tool offers multiple reply options and adapts as it learns from how people edit and send messages. In testing, some drafts were usable with little or no revision, including quick confirmations, scheduling replies, and standard professional responses.
Users can also add personal details in the app's personalization settings to give the assistant more context. According to Superhuman co-founder Rahul Vohra, 40% of generated drafts were sent within a day during testing, and 60% of those went out without manual edits.
The company says the updated system uses a mix of advanced models from Anthropic and OpenAI to improve context awareness and writing quality. Superhuman is also expanding its broader assistant strategy with Superhuman Go, which is built to carry context across apps and workflows.
This shift points to a future where email tools may become more adaptive, helping people communicate faster while keeping their own voice intact.
